Investigative interviewing

Andy Farrall has had a varied professional career, one which included his spending some years in specialist investigative roles with two elite UK law enforcement agencies.

Consequently, he has experience of investigating complex international frauds (including one case in which he was the designated liaison officer with the US Customs Service); proceeds of crime cases; drug smuggling; counterfeit goods; and so on.

As part of such enquiries he was often called upon to interview both witnesses and suspects, and this has resulted in his developing a keen interest in both the practicalities and the psychology of interviewing, a skill which has value in a range of areas, from accident investigation to personnel complaints.

This knowledge and experience has been condensed into both a book and a personal development on-line course.
