IntellSM - a new approach to effective management

Perfect managers handle challenge efficiently; make few mistakes; and always learn from these mistakes so that they are never repeated. Sadly, the perfect manager doesn’t exist – but have you ever wondered just how close your managers could get to achieving perfection with some expert help and guidance? What benefits would that bring to your organisation? Well …

IntellSM – “Intelligence-led Safety Management” – was originally designed as an in-depth risk management strategy, but it was soon realised that it could be applied to management in all sectors, whether that be in engineering; construction; retail; and so on.

IntellSM is an innovative “twin-strategy” management development system which will give your managers not only an understanding of WHY their people can make mistakes, and what you can do about it, but will also equip them with key tools to enhance their own leadership skills.

The benefits of IntellSM can be encapsulated as follows: “Managers plan for the expected – IntellSM helps them prepare for the unexpected

Through IntellSM they will appreciate that (for example):

  • The “work-as-imagined” is not always the same as the “work-as-done”
  • If things do go wrong, they may need to make critical decisions – and IntellSM will explain how
  • They need to lead their people with emotional and cognitive intelligence – the days of just barking orders and demanding blind obedience are long gone.

Andy has developed IntellSM in close collaboration with Dr Claire Mould PhD. Claire is a former Senior Research Fellow and lecturer in neuroscience, with over ten years’ experience of running her own businesses, and fifteen years working as a CEO. She has an expert understanding of the link between emotional and cognitive intelligence, and the development of compassionate leadership.

The third, and vital, member of the IntellSM team is Qing (Ching) Lin, the CEO of Join In China, who has agreed to act as marketing specialist for IntellSM, both in the UK and in the Far East.

IntellSM has been designed as an innovative approach to management for teams such as yours. Managing human error, and providing leadership based on emotional and cognitive intelligence, will result in a working culture where risks and errors are minimised, and productivity and profitability are maximised.
